Personal data is all data that can be traced to you as an individual. Hide-a-mic processes the following personal data:

Address details: street name, house number, zip code, city, state, country
Contact information: telephone number, e-mail address
Payment details: e.g. IBAN, credit card number
Account details: customer number, username, password (encoded), IP address

We process your personal data when you are or have been in contact with Hide-a-mic. We receive this information directly from you when you create an account on our webshop, register for one of our activities or services or when you contact our customer service.

Are you under 16 years old? Have your parents read this privacy policy and ask permission to share your personal data with us, to use our products and services. We cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16 and therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent information about children being collected without parental consent. § 1 Processing of your order

When you order something from, we need your personal data to be able to process and deliver your order. The same applies to the handling of any returns or repairs. For this we collect your name, address details (delivery address and billing address), telephone number, e-mail address and your payment details, such as IBAN or credit card number.

When you use one of our special services, such as making a payment arrangement, renting products or exchanging products, then we need a copy of your ID-certificate in addition to the personal data.

§ 5 Where do we store your data?

We store all our website data at this website location ( is hosted at a Dutch internet provider Antagonist on a secure server which can only be accessed by a limited group of employees and our webdesign team. Your password is not accessible nor visible for us. The data that you provide via email or telephone is stored in our database which is stored locally. The backup of this data can be stored externally on a secured server.

§ 6 Retention period does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary or when required by law, such as with the tax retention obligation. When the retention period has expired, your personal data will be deleted or made anonymous for further analytical or reporting purposes.

In some cases, does not use a retention period, such as your webshop account, your contact with our customer service and your registrations and de-registrations for relevant information. If you unexpectedly want to no longer have this personal data, you can invoke your right to delete your personal data. See section Right of data subjects.

§ 7 Sharing of personal data

The personal data that you register on is only shared with our partners when this is necessary for our service. These are partners such as delivery services, suppliers or repairers, payment partners and IT service providers.
